ஆற்றலும் ஞானமும் தரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவி

‘‘அன்பு செலுத்த முயலுங்கள். தூய ஆவியார் அருளும் கொடைகளையும் குறிப்பாக இறை வாக்குரைக்கும் கொடைகளையும் ஆர்வமாய் நாடுங்கள்’’  (1 கொரிந்தியர் 14: 1). அளவில்லாத வல்லமை உடையவரும் ஆச்சரியத்திற்குரிய அற்புதங்களை இயல்பாய் செய்து வருகிறவரும் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் ஆதிகாரணமானவரும்  எங்கும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறவரும் நித்தியராயிருக்கிறவரும் சகல வரப் பிரசாதங்களுக்கும் ஊற்றாயிருக்கிறவரும் மூவொரு தேவனில் ஒருவராயிருக்கிற மகா  பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரே, எங்கள் சகாயமே, பிதா சுதனோடு உம்மைப் புகழ்ந்து வணங்குகிறோம். திவ்ய பிரகாசத்தின் கதிர்களை வரவிடுபவரே, தரித்திரர்களுக்கு தன்னம்பிக்கை ஊட்டுபவரே, அருட்கொடைகளைக் கொடுக்கிறவரே, இதயங்களில் பிர காசத்தை எழுப்புபவரே, உத்தம ஆறுதல் ஆனவரே, ஆத்துமங்களுக்கு மதுர விருந்தாகிறவரே, பேரின்ப இளைப்பாற்றியைக் கொடுப்பவரே, களைப் பைப் போக்கி சுகம் தருபவரே, வெப்பத்தில் குளிர்ச்சியூட்டுபவரே, அழுகையில் தேற்றுகிறவரே, ஆனந்தத்தோடு கூடிநிற்கும் பிரகாசமானவரே, விசுவா சிகளின் இதயங்களில் மகிமையை நிரப்புபவரே, மனிதரிடம் மண்டிக்கிடக்கும் குற்றங்களைத் தெய்வீகத்தன்மையால் போக்குபவரே, மனங்களில் நிரம்பும் பாவ அசுத்தங்களை, அழுக்குகளை அகற்றுபவரே, ஈவு இரக்கமற்ற உலர்ந்துபோன இதயங்களில் அருள்மழை பொழிந்து நனைந்து போகச் செய்து நன்மைகளை உதயமாக்குபவரே, தவறிப்  போவோரை சரியான வழியில் நடத்திச் செம்மைப்படுத்துபவரே, விசுவாசிகளுக்கு ஏழு அருட்கொடைகளையும் கொடுத்து புண்ணியத்தின் பேறு பலன்க ளையும் நல்ல மரணத்தையும் நித்திய மோட்ச பேரின்பத்தையும் கொடுக்கும் மூவொரு தேவனில் ஒருவரான தூய ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமையில்  வாழ்வோர் அனைவரும் பேறு பெற்றவரே. தூய ஆவியானவரை நினைத்து எந்நாளும் வாழ்பவர் நிம்மதியையும் பேரின்பத்தையும் கண்டடைவார்;  நினைத்ததை சாதிப்பார். அவரது முயற்சிகள் வளரும்; முழுமை அடையும். அவரைச் சுற்றியுள்ள வறுமைகள், பிணிகள், மனச்சஞ்சலங்கள், முன்னேற  முடியாத தடைகள் தளரும். தீய சக்திகளின் சதிக் கூட்டணி உடையும். ஞானம், புத்தி, விமரிசை, தைரியம், திடம், பக்தி, தெய்வ பயம் ஆகிய ஏழு கொடைகளை நமக்குத் தந்து, நம்மோடு இருந்து, நம்மை நல்வழிப்படுத்துபவரான தூய ஆவியானவரைப் போற்றிப் பணிந்து அவரிடம் நம் மன்றாட்டுகளைச் சமர்ப்பிப்போம். இவ்வுலகில் நீர் செய்து வந்த, அனுதினமும் செய்து வருகிற சகல நன்மைகளுக்காகவும் உமக்கு நன்றி கூறுகிறோம். மோட்சப் பேரின்பத்தை அளிப்ப வரும் இறைவனுடைய மகத்துவமுள்ள தாயாராகிய புனித கன்னிமரியாளுக்கு அணை கடந்த தயாளத்தை அவருடைய திரு இதயத்தில் சம்பூரணமாய்  நிரப்பியவரும் நீர்தாமே. உமது நேசத்தோடும் இரக்கத்தோடும் எங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பவரும் நீர்தாமே. புனித கன்னிமரியாளுக்கு பூரண கிருபையையும் திருத்தூதர்களுக்கு உறுதியையும் அளித்து அவர்களைத் திடப்படுத்தியவர் நீரே. நீரே அக்கினியாய் இருப்பதால் எங்கள் இதயத்தில் உமது பரிசுத்த நேசத்தின் தீயை மூட்டியருளும். நீரே ஒளிமயமாயிருப்பதால் எங்களை நித்திய ஞானத்தால் ஒளிவிடச்  செய்தருளும். நீரே புறா வடிவாயிருப்பதால் எங்கள் தீய குணத் துரும்புகளைத் துடைத்தருளும். நீரே நாவின் வடிவாயிருப்பதால் எப்பொழுதும் உம் மைப் புகழ்ந்துரைக்க எங்கள் நாவைப் பழக்கியருளும். நீரே ஒப்பற்ற மேக வடிவம் கொண்டிருப்பதால் எங்களை உமது நிழலால் மறைத்துப் பாதுகாத்தருளும். விசுவாசிகளின் நடுவிலும் தனிப்பட்ட விசுவாசத்திலும் பரிசுத்த ஆவி இருக்கின்றார். பரிசுத்த ஆவி முதலில் விசுவாசிகளின் அனுபவமானார். அதன்  பின்னரே விசுவாசப் பிரமாணத்தின் ஓர் உண்மையானார். பரிசுத்த ஆவி விசுவாசிகளின் அனுபவ வாயிலாகவும் அறியப்படுகிற ஆளாக உண்மையாக அமைகின்றார். பரிசுத்த ஆவி விசுவாசிக்கு ஜெபிக்கக் கற்றுக் கொடுக்கிறார். விசுவாசிக்காக ஜெபிக்கிறார். அவருடன் அனைத்திலும் ஒத்துழைக்கின்றார். அவருடைய மனச்சான்றை உருவாக்குகின்றார். ‘‘நாங்கள் நற்செய்தியை வெறும் வார்த்தையில் மட்டும் உங்களுக்குக் கொண்டுவரவில்லை.  பரிசுத்த ஆவிதரும் ஆற்றலோடும் அசையா உள்ளத்து  உறுதியோடும் கொண்டு வந்தோம்’’ என்கிறார், புனித  சின்னப்பர். ஆகவே, எதை அறிய வேண்டுமென்றாலும் பரிசுத்த ஆவிதரும் ஆற்றலும் ஞான மும் அதற்குத் தேவை. கடவுளின் அன்பை நாம் சுவைத்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டுமென்றால் அதற்கும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் தேவைப்படுகின்றார்.  ‘‘நமக்கு அருளப்பட்ட பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் வழியாய் கடவுளின் அன்பு நம் உள்ளங்களில் பொழியப்பட்டுள்ளது’’ (உரோமர் 5: 5). ஆவியானவரால்  தூண்டப்படுவோரின்  நாட்டமோ ஆவிக்குரியவற்றின் மீதே இருக்கும். ஆனால், கடவுளின் ஆவி நமக்குள் குடி இருத்தல் வேண்டும். ‘‘உம் புனித ஊழியராகிய இயேசுவின் பெயரால் நோய்கள் தீரவும், அருங்குறிகள், அற்புதங்கள் நடைபெறவும் உமது கைவன்மையைக் காட்டும் என மன்றாடினர். மன்றாடிய பின் அவர்கள் குழுமியிருந்த இடம் அதிர்ந்தது. அவர்கள்  எல்லாரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியால் நிரப்பப்பெற்று கடவுளின் வார்த்தைகளைத் துணிவுடன் எடுத்துச் சொன்னார்கள்’’ (திருத்தூதர் பணிகள் 4: 30-31). .திரு த்தூதர்களுக்கு பரிசுத்த ஆவி துணிவும் உறுதியும் அளித்தார். இவை அனுபவத்தைக் காட்டும் பண்புகள். சமநிலையிலிருந்து பிறழாதவர்; சாந்தமானவர்; நன்மையை ஆராய்ந்து ஏற்பவர்; அமைதி படைத்தவர்; இரக்கமும், அன்பும் பெரிதும் உள்ளவர் இத்த கையவர். இவர் நல்ல பணிகளில் ஈடுபடுகிறார். அதன்மூலம் தனக்கே நன்மையைத் தேடிக்கொள்கிறார். தீமையைச் செய்வதனால் நாம் நமக்கும் மற்ற வர்களுக்கும் தீமை செய்கிறோம். நன்மையைச் செய்வதனால் நாம் நமக்கும் மற்றவர்களுக்கும் நன்மை செய்துகொள்கிறோம். நாம் ஒரு தீய செய லைச் செய்தால் அதற்குரிய துன்பத்தை நாம் அனுபவித்தே ஆகவேண்டும். இந்த உலகத்திலுள்ள எந்த சக்தியாலும் இதைத் தடுக்கவும் முடியாது;  நிறுத்தவும் முடியாது. அதே போல நாம் ஒரு நல்ல காரியத்தைச் செய்தால் அது தனக்குரிய நல்ல பலனை  விளைவிப்பதை எந்த சக்தியாலும் தடுக்க முடியாது. பிதாவினாலேயும் அதனாலேயும் நிர்மலமாய் வந்து, பிதாவோடேயும் அதனோடேயும் ஒரு தெய்வீகமும் ஆனந்த மகிமையுமாயிருக்கிற தூய ஆவியான வரே, எங்கள் ஆன்மாவின் ஜீவனே. ஆறுதல் இருந்தும் இருக்கிறதும் இருப்பதுமாகிய நித்திய திருத்துவமே, உம்மைப் பணிந்து துதித்து வணங்குகின் றோம். ‘‘தூய ஆவியின் துணையால் நாம் வாழ்கிறோம். எனவே, அந்த ஆவி காட்டும் நெறியிலேயே நடக்க முயலுவோம். வீண் பெருமையைத் தேடாமலும்  ஒருவருக்கு ஒருவர் எரிச்சல் ஊட்டாமலும் ஒருவர் மீது ஒருவர் பொறாமைப்படாமலும் இருப்போமாக’’ (கலாத்தியர் 5: 25-26). -‘‘மணவைப்பிரியன்’’ ஜெயதாஸ் பெர்னாண்டோ Thanks  DINAKARAN

வித்தியாசமான ஆன்மிகவாதிகள்!

உளிச் சத்தம் கேட்கும் இடத்தில் ஏதோ சிலை உருவாகிறது என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளலாம். பொதுவாகவே அந்தச் சிலை ஏதேனும் கடவுள் வடிவமாக இருக்கலாம் என்றே நாம் ஊகிப்போம். ஆனால், நெல்லை மாவட்டத்தில் அம்பாசமுத்திரம் அருகே உள்ள கீழாம்பூர் கிராமத்திலிருந்து புறப்படும் உளிச் சத்தம் இயற்கையை ஆராதிக்கிறது. அதற்கு அடுத்த பட்சமாகத்தான் இறையை நிறுத்தியிருக்கிறது. ஆமாம், பாபநாசம் குடில் என்றழைக்கப்படும் அந்த சிலைக்கூடத்தில், வெறும் கல் தூண்களையும், அழகிய மரவேலைப்பாடுகளையும் மட்டுமே காண முடிகிறது. இந்தக் குடிலில் இரண்டு சாதுக்கள் சிற்பக் கலையைக் கற்றுக் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். இவர்கள் கடவுள் என்று எந்த ஒரு உருவத்தினையும் வணங்கவில்லை.

வியப்புடன் அவர்களை நோக்கியபோது அவர்களில் ஒருவரான துறவி குமரன் சொன்ன விளக்கம் வித்தியாசமாகவும், சிந்திக்கத் தகுந்ததாகவும் இருந்தது.
‘‘நாங்கள் சாதுக்கள்; ஆனாலும் எங்களுக்கு மதம் இல்லை. கடவுள் இருக்கிறார். அவர் எப்படி இருக்கிறார் என்று எங்கள் உள்ளுணர்வுக்கு மட்டுமே தெரியும். அவர் எங்களுக்கு ஆணையிடுவார். ஆனால், அவருக்கு உருவம் இல்லை. கடவுள் எல்லா இடத்திலும் இருக்கிறார். அவருக்கு ஒரு உருவம் என்று வைத்து வணங்கி சிலைக்குள் அவரை அடக்கிவிடக்கூடாது என்று எங்களது குருநாதர் அறிவுறுத்தியிருக்கிறார். குறிப்பாக குருநாதர் தன்னை புகைப்படம் எடுக்க கூடாது; தன் உருவத்தினை வரைபடமாக வரையக்கூடாது என்று எங்களிடம் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

ஏனென்றால், பிற்காலத்தில் அதைக் காட்டி, இதுதான் கடவுள் என்று யாரும் வணங்கி விடக்கூடாதே என்ற கவலைதான். அதேபோல் ஒரிடத்தில் ஒருவர் சாதுவாக வாழ்ந்து, முக்தி அடைந்தார் என்றால், அவரைப் புதைத்த இடத்தில் கல்லறை கட்டி வணங்கி வருகிறோம். இறுதியில் அவர் கடவுள் ஆகி விடுகிறார்.
அதுபோன்று உருவாகி விடக்கூடாது என்று என் குருநாதர், தன் இறுதி காலத்தில், தன்னை அடக்கம் செய்த இடம் யாருக்கும் தெரியகூடாது என்றும் கூறியிருந்தார். நாங்களும் அப்படியே செய்துவிட்டோம். குருநாதர் கட்டளைபடி எங்களையும் யாரும் புகைப்படம் எடுப்பதை நாங்கள் அனுமதிப்பதில்லை. அது அனாவசிய விளம்பரமாகிவிடக்கூடாதே என்ற கவலைதான்.

எங்களுக்கென்று மதம் கிடையாது, வழிபடு இறைவனும் கிடையாது. ஆனால், எங்களுக்கு எங்கிருந்தோ ஓர் ஆணை வரும். அதன்படி நாங்கள் நடந்துகொள்வோம். அதன்படி விளக்கேற்றுவது, ஊதுவத்தி கொளுத்துவதைக் கூட நாங்கள் தவிர்த்துவிட்டோம். ஆசைதான் மனிதனுடைய அமைதியை கெடுக்கும் ஆயுதம். எனவே அதை துறக்கவேண்டும். எனவே தான் நாங்கள் வெள்ளை துண்டை மட்டும் அணிகிறோம். எங்கள் குருநாதரை பாவநாசம் சாமி என்று தான் அழைப்போம். அவரின் இயற்பெயர் சாது மோகன். கேரளத்தில் பிறந்தவர். 1986ம் ஆண்டு அம்பாசமுத்திரம் அருகே உள்ள கீழாம்பூரில் இந்த இடத்தில் வந்து அமர்ந்தார். அவர் இந்த இடத்தினை தேர்வு செய்ய காரணம், முதல் முதலில் மனிதன் தோன்றிய இடம் இந்தப் பொதிகை மலைதான்.

இந்த  மலை சாதாரணமானது அல்ல; முதன் முதலில் தோன்றிய மலை. முதல் மனிதன் பிறந்ததே இந்த மலையில்தான். இந்த மலையில் இருந்துதான் பல உலகத்திற்கு மனிதன் சென்றான். தமிழ் மொழி தோன்றியதும் இங்குதான். இந்த மொழி பிற்காலத்தில் 18 ஆயிரம் மொழிகளாக மாறியது. அதனால்தான் மத்திய பிரதேசத்தில் வாழ்ந்திருந்த அகத்திய பெருமானுக்கு, தாய்மொழியாக  தமிழே இருந்தது! உலகம் தற்போது மாறி விட்டது. மீண்டும் மனிதன் பழைய நிலைக்கு வரவேண்டும். அப்படி வரவேண்டும் என்றால் மீண்டும் பொதிகை மலையில்  இருந்துதான் ஆரம்பிக்கவேண்டும். அங்குள்ள குகையில் வாழ்ந்தால் குளிரடிக்காது. உடுத்திக்கொள்ள சட்டையோ, போர்த்திக்கொள்ள சால்வையோ தேவையில்லை.

மழையில் நனைந்தாலும் நோய் வராது. இது இயற்கை நமக்கு கொடுத்த கொடை. அது மட்டுமல்லாமல் இங்குள்ள இயற்கையை நேசிக்கவேண்டும். எனவே தான் எங்களது ஆசிரமத்தினை எங்கள் ஆசான் பொதிகை மலை அடிவாரத்தில் துவங்கியுள்ளார். இந்த இடத்தில் தற்போது ஒரு அருமையான தோட்டம் உருவாகியுள்ளது. ஒரு காலத்தில் முள்செடிகளாலும், பனை மரங்களாலும் சூழ்ந்திருந்த இந்த இடம், தற்போது தோப்பாக மாறியுள்ளது.  இங்கு வசிப்பவர்கள் தினமும் இயற்கையை நேசிக்கிறார்கள்.  கடவுளாக வணங்கி காப்பாற்றுகிறார்கள்.

பொதிகை மலைக்குச் செல்வதை இவர்கள் வழக்கமாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அதே நேரம் பொதிகை மலை யாத்திரை என்ற பெயரில் இயற்கையை நாசம் செய்வதையும் கண்டிக்கிறார்கள். குறிப்பாக இங்கு வரும் மக்கள் இயற்கைக்கு எதிராக  குப்பையைப் போடுவதும், அசிங்கம் செய்வதுமாக இருக்கிறார்கள். இதனால் பொதிகையில் புனிதம் கெட்டுவிடும். எனவே யாத்திரிகர்கள் அங்கு செல்லும்போது சுத்தத்தையும், ஒழுக்கத்தையும் கடைபிடிக்க வேண்டும்.’’
தினமும் இந்த ஆசிரமத்தில் மூன்று முறை தியானம் செய்கிறார்கள். காலையில் எழுந்து குளித்து 7 மணிக்கும், அதன் பின் மதியம் ஒரு முறையும், மீண்டும் மாலை 6 மணிக்கு குளித்து விட்டு ஒருமுறையும் செய்கிறார்கள். ஐம்புலன்களையும் அடக்கி, நிர்மால்யத்தை மட்டும் சிந்திப்பதே இந்த தியானத்தின் நோக்கம்.
‘‘மனிதன் தினமும் காலையில் 4 மணிக்கு ஏழ வேண்டும்.

இரவு 7 மணிக்கு தூங்கச் செல்லவேண்டும். அப்படி சென்றால் அவனுக்கு நோய் வராது. இயற்கையாக வாழ நாம் பழகி  கொள்ளவேண்டும். அப்படி பழகி கொண்டால் நாம்  நல்ல நிலைக்கு சென்று விடுவோம்” என்று சொல்லும் இவர்களின் இறைப்பணி என்ன தெரியுமா? எந்த ஊருக்கு சென்றாலும், அங்கே அசுத்தமாக இருக்கும் கழிவறைகளை கழுவி சுத்தமாக்குவது! தற்போது இந்த பாபநாசம் குடிசையில் என்ன பணி நடக்கிறது? இங்கே சிற்பிகளை உருவாக்குகிறார்கள். இவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு கட்டளை, எந்த காரணத்தினை கொண்டும் இறைவன் உருவத்தினை இவர்கள் செதுக்க கூடாது! கடைசல் தொழிலில் பல அபூர்வ பொருள்களை தயார் செய்கிறார்கள். இலவசமாக இக்கலையைக் கற்றுத் தந்து பல சிற்பிகளை உருவாக்குகிறார்கள்.

இந்த சிற்பிகள் உருவாக்கும் உருவங்கள், தூண்கள் எல்லாம் இறையம்சம் கொண்டிருக்காவிட்டாலும், நுட்பத் திறன் மூலம் நேர்த்தியான கலை வடிவங்களாக அவை அமைந்திருக்கின்றன. இந்த பாபநாசம் குடிலில், மயில்கள் அச்சமின்றி நடமாடிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. ஒருமுறை சாது மோகன் காலத்தில் ஒரு கரடி குடிலுக்குள் நுழைந்து விட்டது. அதை கொன்று விடலாம் என்று பலரும் யோசனை தெரிவித்தார்கள். ஆனால், அவர் அதுவும் ஒரு பிறவிதான். அது என்னை கொல்ல முயற்சிக்குமானால் அப்போது ஏதேனும் தற்காப்பு முயற்சியை நாமும் மேற்கொள்ளலாம் என்று சொல்லிவிட்டார். அந்தக் கரடியோ யாருக்கும் எந்தத் தொந்தரவும் கொடுக்காமல், நீண்ட காலம் குடிலிலேயே வாழ்ந்து வந்தது. திடீரென ஒருநாள் காணாமல் போய்விட்டது! எங்கே சென்றது என்பது இன்றுவரை ரகசியம்தான்.

An apple to make tomatoes ripen. If you're tired of waiting and would like  to make your tomatoes ripe in half the time, put them in a bowl with an  apple or two, and cover them up with plastic wrap.

Beans for wax fill up the candle house with a layer of raw beans.  It's not only a nice decoration, but the beans will also keep the candle  steady and capture the wax drops.

Toothpick on scotch tape. Mark the end of the scotch tape by  rolling it up with a toothpick at the end.

Orange Peel to conserve moisture. Keep the moisture and softness  of brown sugar and prevent it from become rough lumps by adding  a long and narrow orange peeling into the sugar vessel.

Coffee filter to clean dust. Clean dust from the computer and television  screen using a coffee filter. You won't even have to get it wet to use it!

Paper cloth to clean the shower doors. Remove insistent soap accumulation from the shower's glass doors by spraying a little water on a paper cloth, the kind used for the dryer and cleaning doors.

Eggshells to clean narrow places. Use a hard boiled eggshell to clean the hard to reach areas of bottles, jars and vases. Throw a few pieces of shell in the object, add hot water and a little bit of dish soap,  and stir it well. The shells will scrape off that hard-to-reach dirt.

Pillow cover to clean the ceiling fan. Slip an old pillow cover on the blades of the ceiling fan and then pull it backwards quickly to draw all the dust and dirt into it, without dropping them all over the floor.

Ginger to deal with pain. Calm down blisters and burns by swatting some fresh ginger juice on the aching spot.

Lemon to clean a grater. After you've grated soft cheese or  other sticky foods, use half a lemon to get rid of the leftovers.  Just use the soft side of the lemon on both sides of the grater and you'll see how easily it becomes clean again.

Nail polish to fix a loose button. Smear a thin layer of transparent  nail polish on the center of the loose button, it will harden and keep it from falling.

Onion to get rid of the scent of mildew. Air out the smell of mildew from  the basement or the tool shed with onions. Cut an onion in half,  put half of it on a plate and leave it in the room for the night.  The morning after, the air in the room will be cleaner and you won't  even smell the onion!

Vinegar and salt against the smell of onion. However, you might be  concerned of having that pesky scent of onions on your hands. A combination of vinegar and salt neutralizes the smell of onions. Mix the two materials and pour this on your hands to rub together until the scent is gone. Then wash with soap.

Pumice to clean a sweater. Take a rough pumice and gently rub it on any thick sweaters to get rid of little fibers and other junk.

Empty wine bottle to stabilize boots Use empty wine bottles to keep tall leather boots stable,  so they don't lose their shape in storage

‘‘வானம் இறைவனின் மாட்சிமையை  வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. வான்வெளி அவர் கைகளின் வேலைப்பாட்டை விவரிக்கின்றது. ஒவ்வொரு பகலும் அடுத்த   பகலுக்கு அச்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கின்றது. ஒவ்வோர் இரவும் அடுத்த இரவுக்கு அதைப் பற்றிய அறிவை வழங்குகின்றது. அவற்றுக்குச் சொல்லுமில்லை,   பேச்சுமில்லை; அவற்றின் குரல் செவியில் படுவதுமில்லை. ஆயினும் அவற்றின் அறிக்கை உலகெங்கும் சென்றடைகின்றது; அவை கூறும் செய்தி உல கின்  கடையெல்லை வரை எட்டுகிறது. இறைவன் அங்கே கதிரவனுக்கு ஒரு கூடாரம் அமைத்துள்ளார். மணவறையிலிருந்து புறப்படும் மணமகனைப் போல அது  வருகிறது; பந்தயத்தில் ஓடும் வீரரைப்போல் அது தன் பாதையில் ஓடுகின்றது.

அது வானத்தின் ஒரு முனையிலிருந்து புறப்படுகின்றது;  அதன் பாதை மறுமுனை வரையிலும் செல்கின்றது. அதன் வெப்பத்திற்கு மறைவானது  ஒன்றுமில்லை. ஆண்டவரின் திருச்சட்டம்  நிறைவானது; அது புத்துயிர் அளிக்கின்றது. ஆண்டவரின் ஒழுங்குமுறை நம்பத்தக்கது; எளியவருக்கு அது ஞானம்  அளிக்கி றது; ஆண்டவரின் நியமங்கள் சரியானவை; அவை இதயத்தை மகிழ்விக்கின்றன. ஆண்டவரின் கட்டளைகள் ஒளிமயமானவை; அவை கண்களை  ஒளிர் விக்கின்றன. ஆண்டவரைப் பற்றிய அச்சம் தூயது; அது எந்நாளும் நிலைத்திருக்கும். ஆண்டவரின் நீதி நெறிகள் உண்மையானவை; அவை முற்றிலும்   நீதியானவை. அவை பொன்னிலும் பசும்பொன்னிலும் மேலாக விலை மிக்கவை; தேனிலும் தேனடையினின்று சிந்தும் தெளிதேனிலும் இனிமையானவை.

அவற்றால் அடியேன் எச்சரிக்கப்படுகின்றேன். அவற்றைக் கடைப்பிடிப்போர்க்கு மிகுந்த பரிசுண்டு. தம் தவறுகளை உணர்ந்துகொள்பவர் யார்?  என் அறியாப்  பிழைக்காக என்னை மன்னியும். அப்பொழுது நான் மாசற்றிருப்பேன்; பெரும்பிழை எதையும் செய்யாதிருப்பேன். என் கற்பாறையும் மீட்ப ருமான ஆண்டவரே!  என் வாயின் சொற்கள் உமக்கு ஏற்றவையாய் இருக்கட்டும்; என் உள்ளத்தின் எண்ணங்கள் உமக்கு உகந்தவையாய் இருக்கட் டும்’’ (திருப்பாடல்கள் 19: 1-14).
நம் இதயத்தில் எழும் எண்ணங்களின் தரத்தைப் பொறுத்து எத்தகைய வார்த்தைகளை நாம் அண்டை அயலாரிடம் பயன்படுத்துகிறோமோ அவற்றைப் பொறுத்து  நம் வாழ்வை  நாம் யார் யாருடன் கழிக்க வேண்டுமென்று இறைவன் விதித்திருக்கிறாரோ அவர்களுடன் நாம் ஈடுபடும் ஒவ்வொரு செயலையும் பொறுத்தே,  தெய்வீக அளவுகோல்கள் நம்மை மதிப்பிடுகின்றன.

எத்தனை முறை பிரார்த்தனை செய்யப்பட்டது, எத்தனை முறை ஜெப மாலை ஜெபிக்கப்பட்டது, எத்தனை முறை வாடா விளக்குகள் ஏற்றப்பட்டன, எத்தனை  முறை திருவிவிலிய வாசகங்கள் வாசிக்கப்பட்டன என்பனவற் றால் நம் மனங்களின் செயல்களை தெய்வீக அளவுகோல் மதிப்பிடுவதில்லை. ஜெபமாலை உருட்டுவதும் திருவிவிலிய வாசகங்கள் வாசிப்பதும் நம் கடமையாக இருக்கலாம். இவற்றைக் கடைப்பிடிக்கும் நாம் உண்மையிலேயே  பிறர்  சிநேகம் கொண்டவர்களாகவும் உறவு முறைகளோடு நல்லுறவை வளர்த்துக் கொள்பவராகவும் நம்மோடு ஒன்றி வாழும் நெஞ்சங்களை ஏற்றுக்  கொள்பவர்களாகவும் நம் மக்களை ரத்த உறவாக வாழ அனுமதிப்பவர்களாகவும் நாம் நம் மனத்தைத் திறந்து அனைவரோடும் ஒன்றிணைந்து வாழ   முயற்சித்திருக்கிறோமா?

நம் பகை நம்மோடு. அதை ஏன் நம் மக்கள் முன் வெளிப்படுத்தி, அவர்களையும் உறவுகளோடு ஒட்டி உறவாட விடாமல்  வெட்டி விடுகிறோம்? நம் சுயநலம்  பெரிதா? நம் மறைவிற்குப் பின் நிகழும் உறவுகளின் விரிசல், ஒட்டுறவு இல்லாமை, குடும்பப் பின்னணி, பாசப்  பிணைப்பு, ரத்த பந்தம் இவை அறுந்துபோக  நாம் உந்துகோலாய் இருக்கக் காரணமாய் இருந்தோம் என்ற பழி நம்மீது சுமத்தப்பட அனுமதிக்க லாமா? ஆகவே, நாம் பிளவிற்கு வித்திடாமல், நமக்கு ஏற்பட்ட  கசப்பான அனுபவங்களை நம் பிள்ளைகளிடமும் வெளிப்படுத்தி, உறவுமுறைகளுக்கி டையே விரிசல்களை உண்டுபண்ணாதிருப்போம்.

நம் சந்ததிகளுக்கு உண்மையான, நேர்மையான வழிகளையே காட்டுவோம். அப்படிக் காட்ட முடியாவிடின் அவர்கள் செல்லும் பாதைக்கே விட்டு  விடுவோம்.  அவர்களும் சிந்திக்கத் தெரிந்தவர்களாக இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் வழி நல்லவையாகவும் சிறந்தவையாகும், முற்போக் குக்கு உரியவையாகவும்  இருக்கக்கூடும். நம் மிரட்டலுக்கும் அதட்டலுக்கும் பயந்தே அவர்கள் நல்ல முடிவெடுப்பதைத் தவிர்த்திருக்கலாம். எல்லாம்  நம் சுயநலத்தின் விளைவால்  ஏற்படுபவையே. இந்த சுயநலப் போக்கின் தன்மை எத்தனை காலம் நீடிக்கும் என்று  நாம் எண்ணுகிறோமா? நம்  காலத்தில் நாம் வல்லவர்கள்; நாம்  நினைத்ததை சாதிக்கக்கூடியவர்கள் என்ற இறுமாப்புடன் அலையலாம். நமக்கான  ஓதுவார்களை அமர்த்திக்  கொள்ளலாம்.

மடச்சாம்பிராணிகளை பக்கத்தில் வைத்து புகை மூட்டம் போட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கலாம். அவர்கள் ஊதும் ஊதலில் புகை மண்டலம் வான்  மட்டும் எட்டலாம்!  ஆனாலும் நமக்குப் பின்னால் நின்று உதபுவர்களை, உதவியவர்களை உதறித் தள்ளி  உதாசீனப்படுத்தும் நம் மனப்போக்கு சரி யானதா, நேர்மையானதா  என்பதை நாம் சிந்திப்போம். மல்லாந்து படுத்திருக்கும் நாம் நம் எதிரியைக் காரி உமிழும்போது நம் எச்சில் நம்மீதே வி ழும் என்பதை மறந்துவிடாதிருப்போம்.
தன் ஆடுகளை கடலோரம் அமைந்திருந்த தோப்பில் விட்டு மேய்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான் அவன். கடலோ அமைதியாக இருந்தது. அப்பொறுமை மிகுந்த கடல்  மேல் சென்று பெரும் பொருள் ஈட்டக் கருதி ஆடுகளை விற்றான். கூடை கூடையாக பேரீச்சம்பழம் வாங்கிக் கப்பலில் ஏற்றிப்  பயணமானான்.

திடீரென்று சூறாவளி தோன்றியது. கப்பல் அலைக்கழிக்கப்பட்டது. பேரீச்சம் பழங்களை வாரிக் கடலுக்குள் வீசினான். காலிக் கப்ப லோடு கரை வந்து சேர்ந்தான்  ‘‘பொறுமை நடுவில் புயல் குடியிருக்கும்’’ என்பதைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டான். எந்த இயற்கை விளைவுக்கும் தான் தயா ராக இருந்தால்தான் தன் கடல்  பயணமும் அதைத் தொடர்ந்து தன் வணிகமும் சிறக்கும் என்பதை அவன் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. சில நாட்கள் சென்றன. அவன் கடலோரமாகக்  கூலிக்காரனாக ஆடு மேய்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தான். அன்று கடலில் என்றுமில்லாத அமைதி நிலவியது. எதிரே வந்தவரிடம் ‘‘இக்கடலுக்கு மறுபடியும்  பேரீச்சம்பழம் தேவை போலும்; ஆதலால்தான் அமைதியாகக் காட்சி அளிக்கிறது.

ஆனால், கொடுப்ப தற்கு என்னிடம் ஒன்றும் இல்லை’’ என்று கடலைத் திட்டினான். ஆனால், கடலின் புயல்போன்ற தன் செய்கையால் தனக்குதான் நஷ்டம்  என்ப தையோ அதன் பொறுமை போன்ற நிதானம்தான் தனக்கு ஆதாயம் என்பதையோ அவன் இன்னமும் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. அனுபவத்தால் பெறும்  அறிவே உறுதி வாய்ந்தது. வாழ்க்கையில் நிகழ்ந்த ஏமாற்றங்கள் நல்ல அனுபவங்களாக மாறுவதுண்டு. இத்தகைய அனுபவம்  வாய்ந்தவரே வாழ்க்கையை  எளிதாக நடத்திச் செல்ல வல்லவராவார். பிறர் தொழில் மீது மோகம் ஏற்படுவது இயல்பு. தன் தொழில் மீதும் வெறுப்புத்  தோன்றுவதும் இயல்பே.

Let's face it, when you are at the office, the biggest risk you face is to run out of coffee. Meet ten dangerous jobs that will make you realize how lucky you are.

Skyscraper Windows Cleaners

You need nerves of steel to be a window cleaner in Dubai. When this worker spotted a mark on an apartment window, he just had to pop out to give the glass a quick wipe with a squeegee. Nothing odd about that – except that the apartment was located 400ft up on the 34th floor of a tower block in Jumeirah Beach, Dubai. He stepped out on to the narrow ledge and, holding the frame, stretched across to wipe away the annoying smudge. As he takes his life into his hands, at least he has the sense to hold on to the window frame, even if it is by his fingertips, as he goes about his task. He was snapped making sure the windows were sparkling by a resident in a neighbouring apartment block. He didn't have a safety harnesses or cradles and helmets. He had nothing. When it comes to safety among its massive immigrant workforce, the Dubai authorities have a dubious record. Conditions in which immigrants are expected to work have been a subject of discussion in the United Arab Emirates for many years. Yet the majority of these employees have no voice, especially when it comes to their own safety. They are also aware that, if they are deported, there are thousands of others willing to take their place. Talk about dangerous jobs!

Helicopter Linemen

The first time you see these guys over the power lines you may think it's fake. But linemen who work from helicopters are for real and they are considered a highly specialized area of line work; few linemen have the special training to perform it. Incredible as it seems, live high voltage transmission lines can be worked barehanded. The lineman must be isolated from the ground by using an insulated bucket truck or other method. The lineman wears special conductive clothing which is connected to the live power line, at which point the line and the lineman are at the same potential, allowing the lineman to handle the wire safely.
Live wire work is extremely common on low voltage distribution systems within the UK as all linesmen are trained to work 'live'. Live wire work on high voltage distribution systems within the UK is carried out by specialist teams. These teams are sometimes referred to as 'Hot Glove' teams.

Crocodile Wrestlers

The daily grind at the office may not seem so bad after viewing these startling images.
For, no matter how grumpy your boss may be this morning, at least you aren't actually risking life and limb by sticking your head in his jaws.
But that is exactly what the crocodile wrestlers at a Thai zoo do on a daily basis. The men at the Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo perform what may well be the world's most dangerous job. The wranglers have been performing the stunts at the zoo on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand, since it was set up in 1985. During the hour-long shows they stick their head between the jaws of some of the zoo's biggest crocs, in the style of Krai Thong, a legendary Thai crocodile hunter. (Link)

Lion Trainers

Newlyweds from Montana, celebrating in Las Vegas were checking out the lion enclosure at the MGM Grand Hotel when they videotaped these images. The man was videotaping the male and female lions and their two trainers when all of a sudden the male took exception at something that was going on and made a lunge. A struggle ensued and a female also decided to join the fray but the trainer managed to break free with the help of his colleague and made a hasty escape from the enclosure with the male still appearing extremely agitated. There is no evidence of any blood being spilled, but the trainer is evidently in great pain during the attack. Soundproof glass muffled any noise, however. Jack Hanna appeared on GMA and he said the attack would be considered mild. The trainer was lucky it was the male getting over-excited as females launch much more devastating attacks.

Miners

Gilberto Angulos does not need to say a word to tell the tale of working 30 years in Chile's mines. His broken body does all the talking for him. A jagged scar runs down his forehead. A metal plate keeps his fractured left forearm together. A bone never properly set juts from his left shoulder. The injuries are the remnants of a mine explosion that nearly killed him. In 2003, Angulos was driving excavation equipment in a large copper mine when he felt a rush of air. Instead of being killed, Angulos was taken 1,300 miles (2,092 km) south to Santiago, where he spent a year in the hospital. The damage to the miner was permanent. Now the San Jose mine collapse and got trapped 33 men in Chile. The owner and operator of that mine, the San Esteban Mining Co., did not complete promised improvements to the mine where the men were trapped for 70 days, 2,300 feet (701 meters) underground. Many of the 33 trapped miners and their peers had had numerous brushes with death in the depths of a mine. Mario Gomez had two fingers sliced off by falling rocks. Victor Segovia spent a year recovering after a rock slammed into his back. Franklin Lobos was trapped for three hours during a previous cave-in. Hector Avila worked 20 years in the mines and became close friends with several of the recently-trapped miners when he worked with them at the San Jose mine. A geologist was killed in the same 2007 accident, prompting the closure of the San Jose mine. But the mine was reopened soon after.

Since 2000, 374 miners have died practicing their trade in Chile, according to government statistics. That seems like a fun job, doesn't it? (Link)

Target Girls

Target girl is a term sometimes used in circus and vaudeville to denote a female assistant in "impalement" acts such as knife throwing, archery or sharpshooting. The assistant stands in front of a target board or is strapped to a moving board and the impalement artist throws knives or shoots projectiles so as to hit the board but miss the assistant. The presence of an assistant as a human target provides a powerful element of risk. Without assistants placing themselves in danger these acts would be simple demonstrations of accuracy, but with the potential for injury or death the show is much more dramatic. Where can I apply? Loggers

Logging takes an annual toll like few other occupations. The biggest hazard, according to Roger Smith of RL Logging in Olympia, Wash., comes from logging mountain slopes. "You're working steep terrain with 70-degree, 80-degree grades with rocks and sliding logs," he says. About half the time, he's taking down 60- to 70-year-old trees with trunk diameters of 30 inches or more. If not felled correctly, these can go crashing down slopes, rolling over anyone in their paths. The old forest canopies often have those snags, which are big dead branches that break off and can fall erratically when the tree comes down. Loggers call them "widow makers." Even after the trees are cut, the job of loading them can be tough. "Somebody just got killed here recently," he says. "He was running a harvester and one of the teeth of the chain broke off and went right through the bulletproof glass window of his cab." (Link)

Fishermen

129 deaths per 100,000 people employed in the industry and 61 injuries per 100,000 for 2008, makes working in the Fishing Industry the number one most dangerous job in the world. A Cable TV show, Deadliest Catch, on the Discovery Network, shows real crab fishers in the Bering Sea. They make a living working many hours a day, 7 days a week, often in the dark, without a break for long stretches of time. They must perform the catch within the window of opportunity, or lose their income for the year. Freezing water and icy boat decks can lead to horrific accidents, and storms can swamp small fishing vessels, sometimes claiming entire crews. (Link)

Deminers

Demining or mine clearance is the process of removing either land mines, or naval mines, from an area. Manual demining is still the best system currently in use because it has been proven that the current generation of mine clearance machines can only clear up to an 80 percent certainty at best, whereas manual demining can give a 99.6 percent certainty. But this work can be very dangerous. Demining resulted in at least 500 deaths from 1996 to 2002. (Link)

These are the people you see hoisting those giant steel beams to create the structural framework of office buildings and other large projects. The United Steelworkers union claims that deaths among structural construction workers are increasing as owners and managers try to cut costs. The most common cause of death among them, according to the BLS, is falling.

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you - depending on how you respond to them.  Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives.  They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.

Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:
1. God uses problems to DIRECT you.
Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention?"Some times it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways."  Proverbs 20:30

2. God uses problems to INSPECT you.
People are like tea bags...if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot ever water! Has God tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? "When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience."  James 1:2-3

3. God uses problems to CORRECT you.
Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's likely that as a child your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned.  Sometimes we only learn the value of some thing... health, money, a relationship. ..by losing it. "It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws."  Psalm 119:71-72

4. God uses problems to PROTECT you.
A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious.  Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem – but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered. "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.”  Genesis 50:20

5. God uses problems to PERFECT you.
Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders.  God is far more interested in your character than your comfort.  Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity. "We can rejoice when we run into problems...they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady."  Romans 5:3-4

Here's the point:

God is at work in your life - even when you do not recognize it or understand it.  But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him.
