PPIs Shown to Increase Stroke Risk
If you suffer from acid reflux or
heartburn and take proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) to ease the symptoms of
either, or both, you may be increasing your risk of having an ischemic
stroke, according to research presented at a recent American Heart
Association conference.
