Wonderful Paper Art by Diana Beltran Herrera
Wonderful Paper Art by Diana Beltran Herrera
You wouldn't believe that what follows has been made and designed using paper. Artist Diana Beltran Herrera
hand makes each paper bird, building them up in layers. She first
starts with the base structure then glues on delicate feathers that are
curled and splayed once attached. The feathers are added to the main
body, tail, wings and head. The final details, the eyes and beak, are
left to the end. To complete the look, she uses wire and floral tape for
the legs and feathers are painted to make each bird look as realistic
as possible. Each work of art takes about 5 days to 2 weeks to complete.
